The Department of Commerce at Akshaya College of Arts and Science, offers a 3-year B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) programme affiliated with Bharathiar University, coimbatore. Established in 2022, the department follows an outcome-based learning approach with an industry-aligned curriculum. It focuses on preparing students for careers in finance, accounting, taxation, and business management.
ACCA Integration — A Unique Advantage
From the academic year 2025–2026, the B.Com programme at Akshaya College is integrated with the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification in partnership with ISDC. Students will receive 5 exemptions out of 13 ACCA papers as part of their regular B.Com curriculum, giving them a significant head start towards a globally recognized professional accounting qualification at no additional academic cost.
