About the Committee

The Disciplinary & Welfare Committee is established to maintain and enforce rigorous discipline across the campus. We are deeply committed to ensuring that all students strictly adhere to the college's rules and regulations.

By enforcing these standards, we foster a thriving environment of order and respectful conduct that allows students to focus fully on pursuing their educational goals. Beyond standard rule enforcement, the committee also provides ample opportunities and resources dedicated to supporting the holistic development of students' personalities and leadership skills.

Campus Guidelines & Code of Conduct

To foster a harmonious, safe, and professional academic environment, all students are expected to adhere strictly to the following core principles:

  • Academic Commitment: Maintain a minimum of 75% attendance across all scheduled classes and laboratory sessions to remain eligible for university examinations.
  • Punctuality & Classroom Ethics: Arrive promptly for all lectures. Late entry disrupts the academic setting and may result in attendance forfeiture.
  • Professional Appearance: Adhere strictly to the prescribed college dress code and wear your student ID card visibly at all times inside campus premises.
  • Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Ragging, physical altercations, bullying, or verbal abuse of any kind are strictly prohibited under national statutory norms.
  • Substance-Free Campus: Possession, consumption, or distribution of tobacco, alcohol, or any prohibited substances on campus grounds will lead to immediate expulsion.
  • Campus Stewardship: Respect institutional property, refrain from defacing infrastructure, and keep the campus clean by using designated waste bins.
  • Gate Security & Authorizations: Leaving campus during college hours requires an official gate pass issued by your respective Head of Department (HOD).
  • Digital & Examination Etiquette: Mobile phone usage is strictly banned inside lecture halls, laboratories, and examination halls.
  • Privacy & Social Media Responsibility: Recording photos or videos of peers or staff without explicit permission, or posting defamatory institutional content online, is strictly punishable.
