At Akshaya College of Arts and Science, we are dedicated to maintain a drug-free campus through our committed Anti-Drug Committee. The committee’s primary goal is to foster a safe, healthy, and supportive environment by raising awareness and promoting positive lifestyle choices. Through education and peer engagement, the committee empowers students to understand the risks of substance abuse and take an active role in prevention and reporting.

To build a caring, inclusive, and safe community that collaborates to reduce and eliminate the harms associated with drug and alcohol abuse.
Mission
- Organize campaigns and events to highlight the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
- Provide knowledge about the harmful effects of substance abuse on physical and mental well-being.
- Foster a culture of responsibility where students actively support each other and report any suspected substance abuse to the Anti-Drug Committee.

Objectives
- Raise Awareness: Promote and maintain a drug- and substance-free campus through continuous awareness campaigns and educational programs.
- Involve students in anti-drug activities and educate them about the harmful effects of substance abuse on their health and future.
- Inspire and motivate students to become active participants and volunteers in anti-drug initiatives.
- Ensure the strict prohibition of drug and alcohol use within the college premises to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Prevent the initiation of drug use and take measures to curb the progression to addiction among those already exposed.
The committee is committed to foster a safe, supportive, and drug-free educational environment for all.
