Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)
Akshaya College of Arts and Science, Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore is a premier Institution affiliated to Bharathiar University Coimbatore established in the year 2022 and offers eight different UG programmes B.Com., B.Com.(CA), B.B.A., B.C.A, B.Sc. (CS), B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (AI&ML), B.A. (Defence and Strategic Studies) and also provides value added courses, Skill Development Courses and Competitive Exam Coaching to Students.
The Departments in this college conducts various events like Seminars, Conferences, Competitions, Exhibitions and Extension Activities to students to learn beyond and fulfill the learning experience of the students. The college has various Cells and Clubs like Women Empowerment Cell, Entrepreneurship Development cell, Health Club, Fine Arts Club, Anti-Drug Club, Placement Cell, NCC and NSS to empower the students. The College provides Domain-based Internships, Placement Trainings and Placement Drives to provide excellent placements to Students. Overall, the institution is impeccable in Academic Excellence in Higher Education.

Journey of IIC established at the Institute
The Institution’s Innovation Council established in Akshaya College of Arts and Science in the year 2023 and vibrantly working towards promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship among students and Faculty with various Activities like Seminars, Webinars, Workshops, Conferences, Competitions and Exhibitions with the experts of Academia and Industry.
The College has collaborated with Entrepreneurs and Business Experts and conducted with various I&E Activities. The IIC President and IIC Convener attended Regional Meet 2023 during the academic year 2023-24. All the students and faculty attended the IIC 6.0 Calendar, Celebrations and MIC Driven Activities convened by Ministry of Education.
Total Number of 15 Innovation Ambassadors were trained and acted as internal and external resource persons at various I&E events. The students have participated in various I&E activities, Competitions and improved and showcased their Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills.
